Season Pass Tickets in Brief:

  • Season Pass tickets are purchased without a specific appointment or date attached to them. These tickets offer the flexibility to be redeemed onsite throughout the year (or specific dates) without having to redeem them again on checkout.

  • Season Pass tickets allow you to gather ticket holder information and personalize the Season Pass ticket for each holder.

Please note that Season Pass tickets are currently in BETA. This means:

  • Availability: This feature is accessible to a limited group of eligible users. If you'd like to take advantage of this feature, please contact us to have it activated for you.

  • Entry management systems: IF you use an entry management system, the feature may not be available for you yet. Currently, the feature will work only with the Beckerbillett entry management system.

  • Feedback: The development team collaborates closely with BETA testers to make enhancements and ensure that the feature functions as intended.

Prerequisite:

  • Activate the Flexible Offer module

  • Activate Season Pass feature (reach out to the bookingkit team for activation)

  • Activate "Ticket holder collection” feature (reach out to the bookingkit team for activation)

Setting up Season Pass

1. Create a specific Experience for Season Pass or use the existing experiences

2. Before you can get started, you must activate the corresponding module "Flexible Tickets" under Settings > Modules. Activate Flexible Offers and go to the Flexible Offers page

3. Create a Season Pass offer for the same experience you created (or any existing experience). Fill the details accordingly, for more info regarding Flexible offers, visit the link here: https://help.bookingkit.com/en/articles/2844434-flexible-tickets-offers

4. After filling in the information and saving the Flexible Offer of Season Pass ticket type, go to the Widgets and create a floating widget to add the Season Pass (or add the Season Pass to the existing floating widget)

5. For the list widget, go to the Widgets tab and enable the toggle “Display offers together with experiences”. Note: On the classic list widget, the experience and flex offers (including the season pass) will be displayed together on the list. Therefore, there will be needed to apply custom CSS to hide the main experience and show only the Season Pass on the list widget (if the Experience is similar to the Season Pass Flexible offer).

6. Below, you can see how the Season Pass would appear if the actions in step 5 are taken. Normal Experiences show on the same List Widget with Flexible Offer.

7. Below, you can see how the Season Pass looks on the Floating Widget.

8. After the buyer selects the Season Pass on the Floating widget, they move through the checkout process normally (without changes for the Season Pass) and pay for the Season Pass. They would be redirected to the Success page, where they finish the Season Pass purchase by filling in Season Pass holder information.

9. The end customer can see the Season Pass on the Self-service page and go to the Personalization form to complete the details if they do not do it after checkout.

10. The personalisation form will show “Action Required” until all the fields are filled and the form is submitted. The photo is automatically checked if it is good quality and matches the criteria to be added on a Season Pass (one face only, front-facing, clear headshot picture).

11. The end customer needs to give consent to upload a picture. Without providing consent, if the photo is required, the end customer can not upload the photo; therefore, they can not finish the submission of the Season Pass.

We recommend the vendor add to their Data Privacy Policy in bookingkit disclaimers and explanations about the photo upload process. The bookingkit team will share recommendations and explanations on how the feature of uploading the photo and checking the quality works.

12. Orders for the Season Pass will be shown under the “Flexible Tickets” tab on the “Orders” section. On this page, the vendor can view all Season Pass holders and edit their info if required by the end customer. On this page, the vendor can download the Season Pass ticket PDF and print it.

13. The vendor can also view and edit the information under the Order details page:
