Unleash amazing marketing potential with bookingkit

Would you like your business to have more reach or simply to generate additional revenue? It is possible to achieve both with bookingkit! Learn what it's all about and how you can grow your business in just a few steps:

Table of Contents

1. Promote local experiences?

bookingkit offers you a unique chance to take advantage of our large and versatile network of providers and generate additional revenue.

The idea is very simple: As a city guide in Berlin, for example, you can offer your customers the possibility to book additional experiences, such as a ride on the famous hot air balloon. The other way round, you can also market your activities through other experience providers. One hand washes the other - true to the motto: Think global, act local!

2. Hard facts

  • Earn 7% commission for every additional experience that you sell on behalf of other vendors.

  • Generate additional bookings and gain a new customer base by having your activities sold by trusted partners in your area.

  • You will be shown experiences and partners within a radius of 30 km (by default).

    • Please get in touch with our customer support to increase or decrease the radius. Maximum radius is up to 250 km.

  • The experiences to be promoted are displayed to the end customers in the checkout on the thank you page, in the confirmation email and in the service overview (max. three experiences - randomly selected).

Optional: You can also display the additional experiences directly in the widget overview in the frontend (max. three experiences - randomly selected). Go to "My Catalogue" and turn on "Show experience list widget":

3. How does it work?

Activate our marketing network:

If it is not done yet, activate the bookingkit marketing network under Reach -> Promote Local Experiences.

In case you only want to promote the activities of other providers, you do not need to activate the marketing network. Keep in mind that in this case you would not benefic from the opportunity to have your experiences promoted by other providers.

Choose which experiences you would like to promote on behalf of your partners:

Under Reach -> Promote Local Experiences you can choose different experiences of other providers within a radius of 30 km that will be displayed to your end customers during checkout, in the order confirmation and in the service overview:

Click on "Sell on my website" to add the experience:

This is how it looks when it's added:

Manage your adventure catalogue:

Your catalogue lists experiences of other vendors that you are selling ,are on your website. You can delete individual experiences as well as deactivate the entire experience catalogue at any time.

4. Good to know

What happens if I receive a new booking through a partner from the bookingkit inventory?

The booking is handled like an order through one of our marketing platforms. Instead of transaction fees you pay the commission. The order will appear in your bookingkit account as a regular booking with the appropriate indication that it comes from the marketing network (channel: marketing network).

Can I control which of my experiences are visible and available for promotion by other providers?

Yes, this is also possible. With our quota tool you can determine how many spots are to be allocated to each marketing channel. The corresponding channel is in this case your marketing network.

Can I also search for specific providers or experiences?

You can simply search for a keyword, experience or provider name in the search bar in the top right-hand corner:
