Here's how you can customize your bookingkit booking widgets to suit your personal design!

Under Sell > Widgets you can drag the code for website integration as well as working on the list views you have created at any time. Maybe you want to adapt the design to include your favourite colours? Would you like to implement bookingkit on various websites? No problem, you can offer the same experience with different design templates.

Work on your widget and change the design

Under Sell > Widgets, find the corresponding experience or the experience list and click on “Settings”. You can make the following changes there:

  1. Change the title and description of the widget (only applied internally in your bookingkit backend).

  2. If your widget contains several experiences, you can activate or deactivate individual experiences here, and change the order in which they appear.

  3. You can also work on display settings. If you don’t want the number of available places for a booking date to be displayed, you can deactivate this here. You also have the option of hiding the map at the bottom of the bookingkit link.

  4. Choose an existing design, create a new one or configure old designs.

  5. If you wish, you can also make CSS adaptations to your bookingkit link. 

  6. Finally, don’t forget to click on “Save settings” so that all the changes will be implemented.

Displaying urgency messages in your widget

Messages of urgency and trust are critical components in enhancing the conversion rate of an e-commerce website. They can create a sense of urgency that motivates customers to complete their purchases promptly.

In your widgets you will see urgency messages display in your:

  • Experience detail screen.

We have tested different versions of these urgency messages, and the current version leads to a 2% increase in the conversion rate.

By default, we show urgency messages, however if you wish turning these off. You can do so by:

  • Scroll to Display settings:

Managing the Bestseller Badge

Displaying bestseller badges can significantly enhance the visibility of your popular products, encouraging more customers to purchase them. Here's how you can manage the bestseller badges in your list widgets.

The badge will be turned ON by default.

How to Turn Off the Bestseller Badge:

  • Click on any list widget you wish to manage.

  • Within the selected list widget, find and click on the "Settings" option.

  • Locate the setting for the bestseller badge and set the toggle to "Off".

If you prefer not to display the badge in calendar, follow these steps to turn it off:

Steps to Turn Off the Bestseller Badge in Calendar :

  • Start by logging into your vendor account and navigating to the sell section of your dashboard.

  • Click on any Calendar widget where you want to change the bestseller badge setting.

  • Once you have selected a widget, go to the "Settings" section for that widget.

  • Find the option for the bestseller badge in the settings menu.

  • Set the toggle to "Off" to disable the bestseller badge for that specific widget.

Control the experiences displayed on your widgets

When creating a new experience, it is NOT automatically added to all widgets where you have not selected "Show all experiences." in that widget.

The new UI element allows you to select between Show “all experiences” and “Selected only".

  • When “All experience” is selected, new experiences will automatically appear on this widget

  • When “All experience” is selected, all checkboxes are selected and hidden.

  • When "Selected Only" is selected, new experiences will not automatically appear on this widget. You will need to go to the widget and manually add the experience to display it.

Important Note

Please remember that this setting applies only to the specific widget you are editing. If you have multiple Calendar widgets, you will need to repeat these steps for each one to ensure the bestseller badge is turned off across all of them. Otherwise, some widgets will still display the bestseller badge while others will not.
