Do you want to offer experiences like Online Escape Games that are bookable at any time and for which your customers only need to select a date, but no fixed time?

Fundamentals of 24/7 Bookability: Online experiences are designed so that the end customer can use them around the clock. Therefore, there is no need to select a specific start time, as the experience is always available during the selected period.

Step-by-step setup guide:

  • Create Experience: Start by creating a new experience in your bookingkit account.

  • Appointment Type: Use the option "Appointments with fixed duration ".

  • Location: Set "online" as the location.

  • Duration of the Experience: Set the duration of the experience to 23 hours and 59 minutes. This ensures that the experience can be booked for a full day.

  • Booking Lead Time: To allow for short-notice bookings, enter -1 day here.

  • Customizations via Support (CSS-Overrides): To optimize the user experience for 24/7 online experiences and communicate clearly, special adjustments to the widget's display are necessary. Since these are done via CSS overrides, please contact bookingkit Support. Have the following information for the relevant experience ready so we can adjust the display accordingly:

    • Display of Experience Duration: The display of the detailed duration can be changed to a more customer-friendly wording (e.g., 2.5h instead of 23h 59min).

    • Availability Notice: A notice such as "24/7 online available around the clock" can be added.

    • Renaming the Time Slot: The button or display for the time slot can be renamed to "Book Now".

By following these steps, you ensure that your online experience is optimally configured for 24/7 booking via bookingkit and that your customers have a seamless booking experience.
