This article covers bookingkit-side steps only. Once you click Go to Punku Setup, you're in Punku's product, and Punku's own documentation takes over from there. This article picks back up once you return to bookingkit as "connected."
This lives on the same widget settings page as the Revenue Boosting Webshop — the AI Sales & Support Agent tab sits right next to Configuration and Palette. If you already have a Revenue Boosting Webshop set up, you don't need a new widget — see step 2.
What you're setting up
The AI Sales & Support Agent is a chat-based assistant for your site, powered by our partner Punku. It answers visitor questions and can hand them a prefilled checkout link — turning a question into a booking without a human needing to step in. It works alongside your Revenue Boosting Webshop or on its own; running both together is what we call the AI Revenue Engine, and vendors who do tend to see the strongest overall results, since the widget and the agent act as two separate, stacked ways to convert a visitor.
Like the Revenue Boosting Webshop, it's one embed snippet — the same one, in fact, if you're adding this to a widget that already has the Revenue Boosting Webshop configured. The widget and the chat agent are shown independently on your site, but nothing new needs to be pasted in.
Step-by-step
1. Log into admin.bookingkit.com, then go to Sell → New Widgets.
2. Two starting points:
Already have a Revenue Boosting Webshop widget? Open it and click the AI Sales & Support Agent tab — it's already there, next to Configuration and Palette.
Starting fresh? Click Create new, name your widget, and choose AI Sales & Support Agent from the Select widget dropdown. (Choosing AI Revenue Engine instead sets up both the Revenue Boosting Webshop and the AI Sales & Support Agent together, on the same widget.
3. On the AI Sales & Support Agent tab, turn on the Display AI chat toggle.
4. Click Connect Punku Account. Turning this on doesn't commit you to any cost — ongoing use requires a separate Punku plan.
5. What happens next depends on whether you already have a Punku account:
No Punku account yet: you'll see a message that no agent has been created yet, with a Go to Punku Setup button. Click it.
Already have one: you'll be taken straight to authorization.
From here, Punku takes over. Creating your Punku agent, training it, and configuring how it responds all happens inside Punku's own product after you click Go to Punku Setup. Once you're done there, come back to this tab in bookingkit — it will show as connected.
6. Back in bookingkit, set up:
Agent — a dropdown to select which Punku agent this widget uses, if you manage more than one.
Experiences available for Chatbot — search and select which experiences the agent is allowed to talk about and sell.
On brand colours and icons: whatever you set on the Palette tab — language, primary colour, light/dark theme — applies to the chat button and chat window too. The chat button's icon and other visual details are managed on the Punku side, not in bookingkit.
7. Save.
About the embed code
If this is a tab on a widget you've already embedded (for example, your Revenue Boosting Webshop), there's nothing new to paste — the same snippet now also powers the chat agent. If you created a standalone AI Sales & Support Agent widget, go back to Sell → New Widgets, find your widget's card, and click the eye icon among its action buttons to get the embed code — same as the Revenue Boosting Webshop flow.
