AI Sales & Support Agent: Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common vendor questions about the AI Sales & Support Agent, Punku, and the AI Revenue Engine bundle.

Questions about Punku's own setup screens (agent creation, training, configuration) belong in Punku's documentation, not here. This FAQ only covers the bookingkit side.

Haven't connected your AI Sales & Support Agent yet? Start with activation.

Do I need a Revenue Boosting Webshop to use the AI Sales & Support Agent?

No — it works on its own. Running both together is what we call the AI Revenue Engine, and vendors who do tend to see the strongest overall results, since the widget and the agent act as two separate ways to convert a visitor rather than one. But there's no requirement to set up the Revenue Boosting Webshop first, or at all.

Does turning this on cost anything?

Turning on the Display AI chat toggle and connecting your Punku account doesn't commit you to any cost by itself. Ongoing use of the agent requires a separate Punku plan.

What happens after I click "Go to Punku Setup"?

You leave bookingkit and land in Punku's own product to create and configure your agent — that part is entirely Punku's. Once you're done, come back to the AI Sales & Support Agent tab in bookingkit; it will show as connected, with Agent and Experiences available for Chatbot ready to set up.

I manage more than one Punku agent. Can I choose which one this widget uses?

Yes — once connected, the Agent dropdown lets you select which of your Punku agents this particular widget uses.

Can I limit which experiences the chatbot knows about?

Yes — Experiences available for Chatbot is a search-and-select field. Only the experiences you choose there are ones the agent can discuss and sell.

Can I change the chat interface's language?

Yes — but not on the AI Sales & Support Agent tab itself. Use the Language setting on the Palette tab (the same one your Revenue Boosting Webshop uses); it controls which language the chat interface displays in.

Do I need a separate embed code for the chat agent?

No. If you're adding this to a widget that already has the Revenue Boosting Webshop embedded, the same snippet now powers both. If you set up the AI Sales & Support Agent as its own widget, it gets its own single snippet — same as any other widget, available via the eye icon on the New Widgets list.

Is the AI Sales & Support Agent the same thing as the AI Revenue Engine?

Not quite. The AI Sales & Support Agent is the chat feature itself. The AI Revenue Engine is the name for running it together with the Revenue Boosting Webshop on the same widget — the combined setup, not a separate feature to configure. See AI Revenue Engine: what it is and how to set it up.

Do I set the chat button's colours separately from the widget's?

No — colours come from the same Palette tab as your Revenue Boosting Webshop. Whatever primary colour and theme you set there applies to the chat button and chat window too. The chat button's icon and other visual details are managed on the Punku side, not in bookingkit.
