We want to make your switch to bookingkit as simple and smooth as possible, so there are 2 options for integrating your existing bookings.

a) Reduction in vacant slots without details of participants:

Use our “Availability management Anchor (Quota Management)” option and reduce the maximum availability for participant numbers individually by date in the calendar daily view. (So vacant booking slots will only be displayed if there are no old bookings.)

b) Reduction in vacant slots including details of participants:

For each date, you manually transfer your old bookings including all information on participants via the function “Add booking”.

c) Import of your previous bookings

For larger volumes, our onboarding manager can assist with the import using an admin function. In this case, you’ll need to provide an xls, .xlsx, .csv, or similar file containing all orders to be imported, following the instructions, and the format requirements provided on this page.

Please note:

  • Every participant in an order must be entered in a separate line, even if the participant details are not entered. In this case, you would just enter the name of the ordering person in the "name" field, as you would always do, and just leave the "participant_name" field empty

  • All participants with the same "external_reference" (the very first column in the template file) are part of the same booking. To separate participants from each other, different external_references have to be used (mostly order codes / "Bestellnummer")

  • Depending on your situation, different fees may apply, please discuss this topic during sign-up with the Sales representative or during your Onboarding meetings
