If you would like to delete appointments from your bookingkit calendar, follow these steps:

  1. Open any appointment from the series which you want to delete in your bookingkit

2. Click on "Delete recurring appointment".

3. Confirm that you want to delete the recurring appointment by clicking Delete.

You can create your appointments again from a certain date by following the steps described in this article.

If you would like to edit appointments, follow these steps:

Simply log into your bookingkit account and complete the following three steps, and voilà - your appointments are up to date:

  • Open any appointment from the series which you want to edit in your bookingkit Calendar > Month View.

  • Click on the grey Edit recurring appointment button.

  • Change or update the series' appointment definition and click on Save

Important: If you would like to delete all appointments for a certain experience over a defined period, please reach out to our Support team via chat selecting the option "Changes to the appointments". Our Support team can delete all un-booked appointments using the admin function. Please note: we can delete ALL dates of an experience for a certain period of time and not, for example, only certain time slots. Existing bookings always remain. Following this, you can recreate the new series in accordance with the desired changes.

Important note on outdated event dates on GYG after linking with bookingkit

Problem:

For some vendors, outdated event dates appear on GetYourGuide (GYG) that have already been deleted in bookingkit. These ‘ghost’ slots show an availability of 0, which prevents the booking on GYG, but can possibly lead to a lower visibility of the offers there.

Background:

GYG requires bookingkit to report all dates without availability as ‘0’, even if they have already been removed in bookingkit. This means that cancelled slots can still be displayed in the GYG system. (source)

Solution:

As bookingkit has no direct control over the display in GYG, affected vendors should contact GYG support to request an update of the displayed slots.
