Overview
Enhance your online bookings by leveraging Facebook’s features. You can do this by adding a custom button to your Facebook page and tracking bookings with bookingkit.
Step 1: Create an affiliate link for Facebook
Follow the instructions in our help article to generate an affiliate link for Facebook. Below is an example of how it should look.
Important: Do not assign any partners to this link.
Recommended: use a custom URL that directs users to a page on your website featuring the bookingkit experience list widget. Alternatively, you can use the preview link of your widget as the custom URL. To obtain this, click on "Preview" here on any widget and copy the URL.
Step 2: Add a Call-to-Action Button on Your Facebook Page
Now that you have your tracking link, follow these steps to add a Call-to-Action (CTA) button to your Facebook page:
1️⃣ Log into Facebook as an admin, editor, moderator, or advertiser.
2️⃣ Click "See all profiles", then select the Page you want to switch into.
3️⃣ Click your Page in the left menu.
4️⃣ On your Page, click ⋯ (More) and select "Add action button" or "Edit action button".
5️⃣ Choose a CTA button and click Next.
We recommend using:
✅ "Get Tickets" (ideal for direct bookings)
✅ "Learn More" (if you want to provide additional information before booking)
6️⃣ Enter your affiliate link from Step 1 as the destination URL.
7️⃣ Follow the on-screen instructions and click Save.
💡 Pro Tip:
✔ Ensure your website URL is also added in the "Website" field of your Facebook profile to boost traffic.
✔ Test your CTA button by clicking it and verifying that it redirects correctly to your bookingkit experience page.
✔ If you need more help, visit Facebook’s Help Center or contact their support team.
