Overview

Enhance your online bookings by leveraging Facebook’s features. You can do this by adding a custom button to your Facebook page and tracking bookings with bookingkit.

Step 1: Create an affiliate link for Facebook

Follow the instructions in our help article to generate an affiliate link for Facebook. Below is an example of how it should look.

Important: Do not assign any partners to this link.

Recommended: use a custom URL that directs users to a page on your website featuring the bookingkit experience list widget. Alternatively, you can use the preview link of your widget as the custom URL. To obtain this, click on "Preview" here on any widget and copy the URL.

Step 2: Add a button on your Facebook page

  1. Log into Facebook as an admin, editor, moderator, or advertiser.

  2. Click here for instructions on how to add an action button to your Facebook page.

  3. For additional support, you may contact Facebook directly or refer to their help center.

Pro tip:

  • Choose the CTA "Get tickets" or "Learn more"

  • Don't forget to also add your website URL in the website field of your Facebook profile.

To track orders made through Facebook, follow these steps:

  1. Order Export via Bookingkit:

    • Access the bookingkit order export file.

    • Look for the "Affiliate Link" field to identify orders placed through Facebook.

  2. Reach Order Export:

    • Check the bookingkit reach order export file.

    • Use the "Affiliate Link" field to find orders that came from Facebook.

  3. Order View:

    • Go to the order view in bookingkit.

    • Locate the "Affiliate Link" field to see if the order was placed through Facebook.

By using these methods, you can efficiently track and analyze orders originating from your Facebook page.
