App Description
The Custom Calendar app enables vendors to create and distribute custom calendar links within their team, bypassing the need for individual booking accounts. It allows for the customization of calendar displays, offering a Day View with a date picker for detailed daily scheduling or a broader view that groups all future appointments by date. Security can be enhanced through password-protected links, ensuring that only authorized users can access appointment information. The custom calendar app supports detailed visualization of each appointment with additional functionality for exporting participant details to PDF. Vendors can personalize the calendar interface with specific titles and images and have the option to display or hide contact details for each order.
Generate Calendar
When the custom calendar app is activated for a vendor under https://admin.bookingkit.com/app-marketplace, Generate Calendar view is displayed. Users can generate a calendar link for the events they select. Multiple events can be chosen. After selecting the events, there are three settings available for the link:
Day View with Date Picker: When this setting is selected, a date picker will appear, allowing users to choose the specific day they want to display appointments.
Include Reservations: If this option is selected, the calendar will display both reservations and confirmed/accepted orders.
Include Only Booked Appointments: When this option is selected, the calendar will only show appointments that have at least one participant. Appointments without participants will be hidden.
Settings
Each vendor can customize the title and image URL for all custom calendar pages. When the custom calendar link is opened, the title and image URL will be displayed at the top of the screen. Additionally, vendors can choose whether to display a phone number for orders on the custom calendar pages.
Users
Each vendor can choose to protect custom calendar links with a password, ensuring that only users with the password can access them. When this option is activated, vendors have the ability to create, edit, and delete users. This feature can also be deactivated at any time.
Custom Calendar link - day view
If the Day View is chosen, a date picker will be available. Each appointment row will display an image, the time, the title of the experience, and information about the number of participants. Additionally, there will be two buttons: one for displaying the list of participants directly below the appointment details, and another for exporting the participant list as a PDF.
Custom Calendar link - no day view
If the Day View is not selected, the calendar link will display all future appointments. The layout remains largely the same, with the only difference being that appointments are grouped by date.
